Our Vision

Is that everyone in Crossroads Country has the Financial Confidence to succeed in any direction they choose

Our Mission

Is to make it easy and beneficial for our member-owners to have a full relationship with us.

On April 28th, 1959, a group of community leaders came together and created our credit union.  It has always been about people helping people and our members remain at the center of everything we do.  We continue to strive to know our members better than anyone else,  because we believe in doing so our members know we have their backs and are here for them every step of the way on their financial journey.   Our goal is to provide our members with the tools, products and advice they need to succeed financially in any direction they choose."

We are focused on community involvement, pride ourselves on being educators and leaders, and will go above and beyond. We lead by our reputation, not only by going above and beyond for our members, but by actively promoting financial literacy in our communities. Through volunteering, donations and sponsorships, we support our communities, our grassroots, and help them to continue to flourish.

When our members succeed, we succeed, so we invest in these relationships by adapting to their needs, no matter where they are in life. By being proactive, we prepare our members for the future now, so that they are ready for their next chapter when it begins.

Our foundation

From humble beginnings to great success! The success of Crossroads Credit Union began at a community meeting in 1958, when the residents of Canora began the process of creating a credit union.  161 residents signed membership forms and deposited $10,855.  On April 28th, 1959 Canora Credit Union was incorporated as a side enterprise at a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool Elevator, a much needed financial institution in the community.

Putting members first has always been our priority.  Our vision it to ensure that everyone in Crossroads Country has the Financial Confidence to succeed in any direction they choose.  And it is our mission to achieve this by making it easy and beneficial for our member-owners to have a full-relationship with us.

Today, we are known as Crossroads Credit Union, a successful, co-operative financial institution that has come a long way since 1958.
